Our History . . .
Christ Church traces its roots to 1799, when a small group of parishioners began worshipping in the barn of a nearby farmhouse. After 10 years, with growing numbers, the current church sanctuary (building) was completed, and has served the community continuously ever since. The church has flourished during the past 200+ years, despite the ravaging impacts of the Civil War, two world wars, the Great Depression and the COVID Pandemic, a testament to the faithfulness and resilience of its devoted members.
